Dr. Shamim Jetha

Dr. Shamim Jetha is a family physician with over 30 years of medical experience, and opened Heather Medical Clinic in 2017. She has been engaged in teaching as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and involved in various philanthropic initiatives, especially those advocating women’s preventative healthcare.

She aspires to further best practice at the highest levels in order to implement sustainable change. She has held various leadership positions, such as being elected as the President of the BC College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) in 2008, a Board Member of the Society of General Practitioners of BC, and Member of the Representative Forum of the Doctors of BC.
